Welcome to Fernwood General Store! We have Victoria’s best selection of Kosher, South African and specialty goods. Formally Aubergine Specialty Foods, we have been serving Victoria since February of 2022. We strive to provide a real ‘Neighbourhood Vibe’ at the store. The store consists of thoughtfully curated products from local and international origins. FGS is part of the big happy Fernwood Collective which includes the iconic Fernwood Inn and the Fernwood Pizza Co. Learn more about them here.

We are located at 1308 Gladstone Ave. beside the Fernwood Inn. There is street parking available on Gladstone Ave. There is also a parking lot located between the Fernwood Pizza Co. and the Fernwood Inn, off of Fernwood Ave. We also provide a hitching post and water trough for your doggos! Lastly, there are several areas to lock up your bike in front of the store and around the neighbourhood.
